Founded by the late Mr. Husni Johannes on September 26, 1974, Citatah began its journey with its first marble quarry in the ‘stone gardens’ region of Bandung, West Java. Within 12 years, Citatah had become Indonesia’s first international natural stone company, supplying materials for global icons such as The Luxor Hotel & Casino, Caesars Palace, and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

In 1996, Citatah made history as the first natural stone company to be listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Today, Citatah manages marble production and distribution while offering natural stone and luxury interior products from global brands such as Bisazza, Caesarstone, Geoluxe, and Nextep. With clients in more than 40 countries, Citatah continues to support prestigious projects worldwide, across every continent except Antarctica, from private homes to shopping malls.

Production Capability

The art of stone lies deep within Citatah’s DNA. The original Citatah Quarries, first cut in 1976, lie among the stone pinnacles and tea gardens outside Bandung, West Java. They Produced the Perlato and Classic Beige marbles.

Since the 1990’s, Citatah’s production focus has centered on Pangkep, north of Makassar in South Sulawesi. Master craftsmen use advanced cutting technique to select stones with the perfect patterning and marbling, yielding beige , and grey marbles.

All our quarry operations are manned by experiences wuarry masters who meticulously plan and utilise newest technology

Indonesian citizen, born in Jakarta in 1959. He was appointed as President Director of the Company by Minutes of Meeting Deed dated 18 July 1980. Currently he also serves as President Director of PT Megapasific Nusapersada and Director of Meridian Pacific International Pte Ltd. He graduated from the University of Windsor, Canada majoring Mechanical Engineering. He is also a shareholder of the Company and PT Megapasific Nusapersada.

Denise Johanes

Director
Indonesian citizen, born in Pematang Siantar, North Sumatera in 1957. She joined the Company as Marketing Manager in 1982. In 1993, she was appointed as Director by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders until present. She also serves as Director of PT Megapasific Nusapersada and Meridian Pacific International Pte. Ltd. She graduated from York University, Canada majoring in Mathematics

Tiffany Johanes

Director
Indonesian citizen, born in Jakarta in 1965. She joined the Company in 1993 as Finance Manager. In 1998, the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders appointed her as Director and until now she is the Finance and Operations Director. Previously she held positions in several financial institutions including Bank of Trade California, USA, ABN Jakarta, and Standard Chartered Bank in Indonesia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Finance degree from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the California Polytechnic State University, USA.

Rumpoko Adi

Director
Indonesian citizen, born in Purworejo, Yogyakarta in 1965. He joined the Company in 2013 as Operational Manager. The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders appointed him as Independent Director in 2017, and since then he is acting as Technical Director. Prior to joining the Company, he worked in various positions in design, architecture, and construction divisions of PT Kencana Unggul Sukses, PT Tiara Metropolitan Jaya, PT Trimitra Jaya Persada, and others. He graduated from the University of Gajah Mada (Yogyakarta) with a Bachelors of Architecture degree.

Gregory Nanan Aswin

PRESIDENT COMMISSIONER
Indonesian citizen, born in Magelang, Central Java in 1945. He was appointed as Independent Commissioner of the Company by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated 12 June 2001. Previously he served as Director of PT Intinusa Selareksa from 1992 to 1996 and an independent consultant in the stone industry since 1998. He graduated from Sultan Agung University, Semarang with a Bachelor degree in Medicine.

Eugene Cho Park

Commissioner
An American citizen, he was appointed as Commissioner of the Company based on the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of 2014. Other current positions are as Managing Director of Parallax Capital Management and Chief Executive Officer at Gallant Venture Ltd. He has served more than 15 years as an investment banker in various institutions including Credit Suisse First Boston Corp. in London, and BNP Paribas in Singapore. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University, the USA, and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, France.
